Residential Standby Generators

Fortunately, an Onan home standby generator can keep everything running smoothly - even when you're not home.

An Onan home emergency power system doesn't simply backup your power - it backs it up automatically. Each system includes an automatic transfer panel and a generator. It works like this: the automatic transfer panel senses when your electricity is out and activates your Onan generator, which produces the power you need. When the utility power returns, it automatically switches back to the utility. The generator is connected to your existing gas line or propane tank. The home standby system can be installed to meet the needs of any home, new or existing.
